We have added an interactive map of these sames streams on Google Maps, which you can access via the "CT WTMA Interactive Map" link on the CT Resources Menu in the sidebar. | Connecticut lists 28 Wild Trout Management Areas (WTMAs).
Nine are classified as Category 1: "Abundant wild trout. No trout stocking. Catch-and- release only, no closed season." Two are Category 2: "Some wild trout and stocked trout. Reduced creel limit (2) and higher minimum length (12")." Seventeen are Category 3 (red icons): "Some wild trout and stocked trout. Higher minimum length limit (9")." |
