NJ Water Quality Data

In 2010, NJ published a daset of streams which classifies them by their "designated uses" for surface water quality.  Cold water streams, of which we are exclusively interested, are classified as follows:

FW1-TP The highest quality streams in the state, and receive the highest level of protection.  These are shown as cyan lines in the photo.
FW2-TPC1 Slightly lower quality, these receive a "C1" level of protection, nearly as strong as the FW1 streams receive.  These are the blue lines in the photo.
FW2-TPC2 These streams receive a lower, "C2" level of protection.  These are magenta.

The data used to create this image can be downloaded from the NJ Resources menu in the sidebar.  Note the FW2-TPC1 streams are contained in two files.  This is simply because the tool I use places a 10MB limit on any one KML file.
