PA "Wild Trout" Workstation
Given the range of data available from the state and other sources, setting up a "Wild Trout" Workstation on Google Earth is a short investment of time that will pay dividends for years. We've prepared a comprehensive tutorial on how to do this, which you can download from the PA Resources menu in the sidebar. Once your "workstation" is set up, you'll be able to zoom in on wild trout streams and other information with all of the power of Google Earth's 3-D interface.

We've collected what we believe are the most useful fisheries datasets and packaged them in a single zip archive which you can download from the PA Resource Menu. We've also packaged up some general PA GIS datasets (e.g. park boundaries) is a set of "useful information". If you want more information, or if any of the files proves to be out of date, you should check the PASDA website, which is here:

What's great about Google Earth is that you can combine the PASDA data with data from other providers, and control how you view it. You almost certainly would want to download the EBTJV data for PA, which is also listed on the PA Resource Menu. A typical view in Google earth can look like this:
